Shanti Wintergate is a Canadian/American, award-winning, singer/songwriter, actor, writer and artist.  Born in Hollywood, CA to artist and musician parents and raised in the wild mountains of Idaho.  Shanti's music has been featured on FOX's Lucifer, NPR's All Things Considered, Nordstrom's - Back to School campaign, Charmed and Sirus XM.  She's won Parent's Choice Awards for her work with children's music project Play Date, as well as the children's book, I Went For a Walk.  She's performed nationally at Austin City Limits Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Vans Warped Tour and Treefort Music Fest as well as various Performing Arts Centers and venues across the country.  She's appeared in a co-starring role on CSI:NY, and continues to pursue projects that inspire her.    

Shanti is an avid skiier, snowboarder and equestrian.  She enjoys surfing, hiking, biking, rollerskating and can even handle herself in a roller derby ring.
